Students
The Shovlin Academy's new discussion board is now online. The forum is an opportunity for students and parents to discuss things of interest online. The marketplace's interactive format means students and parents may post items directly and quickly that are wanted or for sale. If you have had items on the old for sale page, please post them in the new marketplace.
Be sure to visit the newsletter page to download the latest edition, and previous editions, of the Academy's newsletter. Now available in PDF or Word format.
Weather Policy
Do not expect a call in the event of cancellation of dance class due to inclement
weather. To determine if class has been cancelled due to snow, ice, etc., you may
choose to do one of the following:
- Check the home or announcements page of our website
- Call 412-431-STEP (7837) and press "1" for school's mailbox
Please do not assume that if your respective school was cancelled for the day that our dance class will be as well. Quite often the weather will clear up by class time. Dance classes cancelled due to inclement weather will be made up.
Registration
Every year students will need to update their profile section in the Marketplace / Forum
and send in their registration fee by the deadline. Blank forms are available for new
students on our registration page. Note that students must
register separately for summer classes.
